Our Founder, Eric R. Martin, placed his first equity trade at the age of fifteen. It was at this moment, the idea of Oxford Martin was born. The educational institution of choice for our founder was The University of Mississippi, which was built on a hill in Oxford, Mississippi. Which inspired our name, Oxford Martin.
